Why I Like Homeschooling

Many people are talking about education. There are many educational options, including public school, private school, and home schooling. Most people think public school is the best alternative. Fortunately, my family has a different point of veiw. I am home educated, and I think it is better for me than traditional school.

To begin, home schooling allows me to have more free time and home work is never a problem. A typical home school day is about from 9:00 to 1:00 or 2:00. I do school 4 days a week and the other day I catch up with work that I did not complete during the week. I can also use the extra day to go on field trips. I can choose if I want do some of my school work at night or all in the morning. As a result I can stay up late and sleep in in the morning.

Another reason I prefer homeschooling is my ability to take trips in the middle of the school year. Kids in traditional school have to wait for a holiday break or when school gets out. I can also do school work ahead of time or on my vacation instead of having to do it at school when I get back. I can also do school work in the car. As a result I can do school work any where.

Most importantly, it’s more Godly. For instance I take bible as a subject. Also Home schooling allows me to pray a lot. We also teach creation not evolution, because I believe God made the heavens and the earth. As a result, I center every thing around God.

So if you had the choice of public school or homeschooling give homeschooling a try. I’m glad I chose home schooling. Homeschooling allows me to work in the environment I enjoy. So if you had the opportunity to choose your education I highly recommend that the you select homeschooling.

New York and the world still grieve over the loss of family members and friends that died on the fateful day. America will never be the same.
